Aletheia is the Greek word for truth which is found in John 8:32. “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Aletheia is a ministry for all 9th through 12th graders. It is a place where teenagers can come and have their spiritual and social needs met. It is a safe place where they can build authentic relationships, hear relevent and engaging Bible teaching and serve others. We know that quality relationships develop when people connect with others like themselves. That is why we create an environment based on age and grade. It is a great place for students to connect and make friends.
We are a group of youth and youth leaders who love people regardless of where they have been, what they have done and who they are. We are non-judgemental! We believe we need to be love to the world….God’s love. Love is not just a feeling but an action. We believe more in living for Christ than we do saying we live for Christ and wearing t-shirts that say we do. We are a group of youth and youth leaders who are OK with standing up for our Savior, regardless of the cost….and not being a jerk while doing it.
We know life is tough. Things like cutting, depression, divorce, insecurity, peer pressure, abuse, struggling with identity and confusion are not new to us and we are willing to help you get through it. We are not afraid to get involved with people who have messy lives! We don’t know all the answers but know THE answer to how to make it through this journey called life.
