Centerpoint has taken on the kitchen at Camp Mahanaim in Les Cayes, Haiti as our church project. This kitchen will be housed in the orphanage on the camp, but will be used to feed 300 campers and staff 2 meals a day for 40 weeks a year.  That’s 12,000 campers/orphans/staff per year or 24,000 meals per year!  We have committed to raising the funds to build this kitchen.  We are still in need of donations. So if you would like to donate, please make a check to either Centerpoint Church or to Harvest International, but be sure and put “Wrays Camp Kitchen” in the memo.  The ketchup and mustard bottles, and bake sale, took us a long way to buying commercial grade kitchen equipment for the kitchen. We would like to finish off this project, so they can finish putting the kitchen together and start the camp this fall! Please continue to pray for and donate to this project!
Sincerely,

Centerpoint Mission’s Committee

Go-Be

1 John 3:18 says, “Dear children, let us not love with words or speech, but with actions and in truth.” Check out the ways we’re loving the community through our Go-Be program … where we GO and BE the church! You can find photos, videos and more information about our Go-Be Sundays here: Go-Be

Skill Day Center

We support the Skill Day Center, an outreach center for children located in the community of Busbee’s Quarter, by hosting many events throughout the year including:

Spring Break Out- An annual event at the Skill Day Center during Spring Break.  We play games, eat lunch, sing songs and teach them about Jesus.

School Supply Drive- During the months of July & August we host a school supply drive encouraging our church families to fill backpacks with needed supplies for the students.

Thanksgiving Feed a Family- We collect food items needed for a proper Thanksgiving meal.
