We summarize our core values with these 7 statements:
Biblical Authority
We believe the Bible to be God’s inspired, inerrant, and infallible word and that sound Biblical teaching is the foundation and catalyst for transformation in individual lives and in the Church.
Intimacy with God
We believe that it is normal for those who are followers of Jesus Christ to yearn for continuous growth in intimacy with God, to have a passion for the pursuit of full devotion to Christ, and that corporate and individual worship and prayer are vital to know, enjoy and honor God.
Authentic Community
We believe that life change happens best in community, therefore we will intentionally provide environments that ultimately move people towards being part of a community group, where they can grow in their relationship with God and one another.
Relevant Environments
We believe that the Church must provide environments conducive to the work of the Holy Spirit in people’s hearts, and that those environments encourage and equip participants to grow in their intimacy with God, community with one another, and influence with their neighbors.
Strategic Service
We believe that the Church should operate as a loving, unified community as each member enthusiastically serves by using their God given gifts, talents, time and resources.
Spiritual Formation
We believe that the spiritual formation of each believer is critical to the work of the Church. By spiritual formation we mean the maturing of God’s people in the areas of worship, Bible study, prayer, Spiritual gifts, mercy and evangelism.
Life on Life Evangelism
We believe that God deeply cares for lost people and we must as well. Therefore, we are committed to invest in relationships with those outside the Church, invite them into environments where they can hear the Gospel, and challenge them to respond to God’s call.
