In Revelation 4 John the Disciple is given a glimpse of heaven.
What he sees is a worship service and its nothing short of awesome!
What impressed and challenged me the most is the attitude of the 24 elders.
They sat on thrones at center-stage yet they never, never thought themselves as anything special. Rather, we see them off their thrones, falling on their faces, offering the King of Kings their crowns saying; "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to received glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being." Oh, as we come to worship may we all have that same attitude. Though we may have position or prominence may we ever be falling down before the only One who is worthy to receive praise.
